(1) Cotinine test result supersedes participant’s sms reply happening in the same month. (Eg. Month 1 reply = 1 and fail the month 1 test, the quit outcome is 0 (Did not quit) and the quit outcome source (below) is 1 (verified) )
(2) Latest result/reply will supersede earlier result/reply. (Eg. Replied 2 (did not quit) in month 2 but replied 1 (Yes quit) in month 5 and no reply/test in month 6, then the quitoutcome is 1 (Quit) and the quit outcome source is 0 (Self declared)
To be exact, month 6 result > month 6 reply > month 5 reply >… >month 1 reply, where > indicates higher priority. No reply is ignored.
